Engineers without borders

“Engineers without borders” is a sustainable development charity. It is about training people to do things for themselves such as building water pumps and wind turbines and helping them to decide what stuff needs to be developed.

EWB-UK’s approach puts students and young professionals at the centre of their operations, providing them with resources and contacts to help them become development professionals. There are branches within many UK Universities such as Bath.

Education is a vital aspect of this effort, which is why the “Water for the World” (WftW) initiative was created by Engineers without Borders (EWB) – a student-led charity committed to facilitate human development through technology.
